It is good to know that the Freddie Mac Foundation home was refurbished in recent years and now has over 8,000 square feet of space to accommodate more families at one time.

I think that discussion is extremely important. But, we need to not be afraid of that discussion. Too often we live in the negative in only describing bad experiences we've had, but I think its just as important to spend time discussing what makes up a healthy relationship. We need to be able to identify positive aspects of our relationships just as we need to be able to identify the red flags. Keep the discussion alive and let your friends' practical experiences help guide you as well. It takes a community to end abuse.

thank you for sharing this news. Yes, it's really a challenge to keep a good balance between safe and possitive relationship. It's too hard to control and define the bottom line. So is the only way to improve through practical experience and discussion?

A long-distance relationship needs to be a healthy one, just as if you were living together. Here is a resource for you to check out from the Red Flag Campaign to give you a list to see if your relationship is healthy. If not then you know where some work needs to be done to make sure that you have open communication, balance, trust, and love.
